What’s New, Next & Inspires

Local Art, Public Space, Sitges

Today I finally had the chance to visit our exhibition. The space is filled with beautiful works by fellow painters and creatives from Sitges Artists. I’m very proud that my work is featured on the main announcement, right at the front.

Pekados Restaurant, Calle Marqués Montroig 10, Sitges, 08870

If you’re in Sitges, you can visit the exhibition freely. Even better, combine it with a drink or some tapas. That’s what makes this exhibition special: art experienced in public space, part of everyday life.

Each artist is represented with an information card and QR code.

My work can be found at: www.pintorsenoresquina.com

Yes

there I was, sitting nicely in Ruth’s Monet class. The “master” stepping off his corner, brush in hand, ready to listen. Not my best side tho “More light.”Softer.” Don’t think, just look, follow your heart.”

And there I was, nodding like I already knew it all! But honestly? It felt amazing to be challenged and to step outside my own style for a moment.

Sometimes even Pintor Señor Esquina has to go back to the basics to dream even bigger in color basics

Thank you, Ruth, for the inspiration and the gentle (but precise ) guidance!

Design Museum

Design and creation have always been an essential part of who I am. Driven by this passion, I submitted my design for the newly proposed National Slavery Museum in Amsterdam. Slavernij Museum.

This project carries deep personal significance. The history it represents is not distant or abstract and it is closely intertwined with my own family history in Suriname and in Amsterdam.

Contributing to a place dedicated to remembering, confronting, and learning from this past felt both meaningful and necessary.

My Journey

My journey as an artist also began at the luxury shops of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. For years, I worked as a freelance Visual Merchandiser for brands like Dior, Gucci, Boucheron, PBI, and Rabanne, creating visual concepts and campaigns such as the 2 for 49 promotion and the lipstick story, balancing commercial impact with aesthetic expression. Later I started Factory Styling.

After years of creating for brands, I wanted to tell my own stories, which led to the birth of Pintor Señor Esquina. My paintings continue the principles I honed in retail composition, contrast, rhythm, and layering, but now fully free, focusing on emotion, stillness, and lasting impact. My background in visual merchandising shapes how I structure and present my art, bridging my past in luxury retail with my present as an independent artist.

Yellow

Stepping into a world of yellow at the Van Gogh Museum!

As Pintor señor Esquina, Vincent has always been one of my greatest inspirations. Walking through “Yellow. Beyond Van Gogh’s Colour” feels like a conversation across time – every stroke, every shade revealing something new.

After years working at the museum, it was magical to snap a photo with my own homage to his iconic sunflowers – a small dialogue between my art and his genius.

Yellow is bold, radiant, and full of life – just like Van Gogh himself. Don’t miss this exhibition, running until 17 May 2026!

Happy New Year

Best wishes for 2026

Pintor Señor Esquina.

With great excitement we celebrate the sale of the painting “En El Bosque”! The artwork from Pintor Señor Esquina has found a wonderful new home with the buyers Barbara and Ronald. The evening continued with an inspiring Meet&Greet with the art master Señor Esquina, filled with great conversations, shared passion and admiration for the work. The atmosphere was vibrant, and it stayed lively well into the evening.

And this is just the beginning. More unique artworks are available and waiting for the right collectors. Now is the moment to invest in art that tells a story, sparks emotion and grows in value.

New Art Spring Collection “New Horizons”

In this collection, spring becomes a metaphor for renewal and quiet strength. Each panel captures a different moment of becoming, from delicate emergence to confident bloom, forming a harmonious visual journey when placed together.

Set against luminous yellow backgrounds, the flowers rise with expressive, intuitive strokes. Soft geometric forms and flowing lines create a contemporary rhythm, balancing structure with organic movement. The palette of warm corals, fresh whites, and gentle blues evokes optimism, light, and calm.

Together, the four works celebrate growth, individuality, and the courage to bloom.

Hello Spring

Sitges Carnaval 2026

Creativity for me does not live only in writing and painting. It also exists beyond them, in how I observe, collect, and pause with what often goes unnoticed. Ideas begin before they become words or images, in fragments of thought, in colors I mix in my mind, in sentences that resist being held.

Everything carries something that wants to be seen or felt.

And sometimes creativity is also the conscious choice of nothing. No brush, no words, no searching.

Only carnival. Color, masks, playful outfits, created by me, like our costumes this time, Like big boxes of candy Tic Tac. Only a little change in the name to Bes Tac, Beso is kisses in Spanish.

Because being a little crazy in life belongs to it. Letting go, laughing, playing without intention.

Disappearing into celebration for a while.

See you soon and thanks for all the love we got with our outfits.

Mediterranean Sun

Two men pause in front of their latest acquisition. The painting Atardecer En Sitges by Pintor Señor Esquina fills the space with warm light and gentle tones. Every brushstroke captures the magic of Sitges: the sunrises that promise a new day and the sunsets that softly close it.

What started as a purchase became an experience. The artwork brings calm, conversation, and a touch of Mediterranean romance into their home. As if, every day again, you are standing by the sea at that perfect moment when the sun kisses the horizon.

A Repeat Order

From commissioned painting to a repeat custom order

After completing an original artwork, the same client returned for a one-of-a-kind wearable art sweater featuring their cat Beppie 🐈‍⬛

That’s what happens when art is personal, original, and made to last.

A 5 Star Review

Receiving a 5 ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ review is something truly special, and for me as an artist it means more than words can say. It’s a beautiful sign of appreciation for my paintings, my vision, and the emotions I pour into every piece of work.

My art doesn’t stop at the canvas. With my Wearable Art Collection, I want my paintings to live in everyday life. The quality of the prints is something. I’m incredibly proud, its detailed, and made to last. The fabrics are carefully chosen, soft yet strong, and the colors are rich, vibrant, and full of character, just like the artworks themselves.
Every 5-star review is a reminder of why I create: to share art that can be felt, worn, and truly experienced. Thank you for the love and support — it means everything to me.
