It always feels special to create a commissioned painting as Pintor Señor Esquina, shaped entirely by the wishes of the client. But did I truly listen? Did I really understand their desire for color and for small accents within expansive planes?
This time they asked for beautiful earth tones, precisely the painting I had been wanting to create for some time: a work carried by the colors of the earth.
The unveiling is always a moment of suspense for me as well. Yet that tension dissolves instantly in the client’s response, making way for pure joy.
To help them experience the piece in their own space, I created atmospheric photographs in the bedroom and a reel to share a complete sense of the work.
Layers of warm earth tones, beige, taupe, and soft brown merge in quiet reflection, evoking a serene horizon where stillness hovers above the grounded essence of the land. The sides of the canvas are painted black, allowing the work to feel subtly complete, ready to hang.
